Cooking Mama: Cook Off Review

Cooking Mama: Cook Off is a game that was meant to be on the Wii. In this title you will be cooking your way to excellence. As you cook masterful dishes you will unlock more dishes to try your hand at. After a couple times through where you've seen most of the different type of cooking, and preparations you too can be a pro.

The graphics are a bit cartoony, but there is never a time where you have no idea what this ingredient would be in real life. The interfaces are all friendly, and well done.

The controls fit so well with this game. I really don't have a complaint about the controls whatsoever. I just have to warn you to be read to hold your wii-mote in different positions so that you can perform the actions required for that stage of cooking/preparation.

The gameplay might not be for everyone, it really is just a cooking game, but for those who like that thing, or for those who are willing to try something not quite mainstream the gameplay will have you glued to the chair. You'll be mixing, chopping, whipping, meat making, patty making, frying, roasting, slicing, and anything else you can think of when it comes to cooking.

I'm proud to give this game an 8.3 out of 10.

This game can get very addictive real quick once you know how to do all the different prep types.
