Rayman Raving Rabbids Review

An early minigame collaboration for the Wii. Rayman Raving Rabbids has you playing as Rayman who has been captured by the Rabbids. You have to complete different rounds of minigames to win your freedom. You do this by gaining plungers, get enough and you can escape through a window. Also playing through the single player game will unlock the mini games for multiplayer consumption.

The graphics are your standard Wii affair. There are times when in the stadium where its not the best looking thing, but overall the game looks nice. It really doesn't try to push the envelop but it doesn't look terrible either.

The controls are explained to you before every game so for the most part using them is really quite simple. There are sometime where you're going to want to hurt someone because you have to draw things with the wii-mote and that doesn't always work.

The gameplay, like stated before, is a bunch of minigames. There are some good and some bad, but my favorite by far is the dancing ones. This is the one where you have to time your shaking of the wii-mote and nunchuck to the rhythm of the song.

I think the really big problem with this game is that you have to work your ass off to play some of the good games in multiplayer. 7.5 out of 10.
