Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting Review

Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting has been out a while for the XBOX Live Arcade, and I have to say that it hasn't gotten any better with age. This game was meant to be played with an arcade joystick, and I think that this is an example of Capcom trying to make a little extra money with little if no effort and making sure the game was going to look and feel good on a next gen console.

The graphics are very dated, its from two generations ago. It's like playing an SNES game on the XBOX360 and not seeing any visual improvements.

The controls as stated before are meant to be play with an arcade joystick. It is really difficult for the player that picks up the game every once in a while to perform more than a couple of moves.

The gameplay is really simple, choose a fighter and you'll be battling against another opponent, battle until you lose to rounds to a fight. You can choose any of your favorite Street Fighter 2 characters to battle with.

Although I enjoyed the original version of this game, my enjoyment really doesn't transfer over to this one... 4.4 out of 10.
