Gravity Swarm Review

Gravity Swarm is the latest game to be posted by the group Under Clouds. This is yet another solid game by this group. You'll be playing a version of asteroids with a couple small twists. First of all you'll be clicking on the screen to give the ship a general direction in which to go and it will also orbit around that point. Your ship will always be firing so there is no need to hold down a button or click on each individual asteroid. There are power ups to help you get through the game, some of which are health bonuses, shield, and increased fire power (three way shot instead of one).

The graphics are very simplistic, its just line draws, but you're never confused as to what your ship is and what is the asteroid that you are trying to blow up with your shots.

The one thing that is a bit tedious is trying to control your ship from time to time, you'll see that if you put points too far out for the ship that it will fly across the screen and hit the asteroids before it can squeeze a shot off, but after you get the hang of it the game definitely plays well.

7.8 out of 10.

Sadly the posting system is giving me some flack about posting pics, but I'll get them up as soon as this thing behaves itself.
